Royal Dux Bohemia Porcelain Carriage Sedan Chair (Czechoslovakia, 20th Century)
Large scale porcelain figural from the Royal Dux porcelain company. A young woman stands inside a traveling booth while two stately young men in tricorn caps wait to carry her. The figures stand on an oval base resting on six scrolling feet. The sculptural composition is made in an unusual, soft, restrained color scheme and gilt highlights.
No chips and restoration. Minor cracks. A great porcelain group to decorate a large space.
